THURNAUER SCHOOL OF MUSIC NAMED “MAJOR ARTS INSTITUTION” BY STATE ARTS COUNCIL

The JCC Thurnauer School of Music was named a “Major Arts Institution” by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State. The coveted designation was awarded in recognition of the Music School’s “solid history of artistic excellence, substantial programming, and broad public service.”

I’m proud of my students and I invite you to listen to them play. They are students at the JCC Thurnauer School of Music in Tenafly, NJ.. Teaching is very important to me and I love my work at Thurnauer and at my studio at home. My students are taught with an eye on a solid technique that supports their musical expression. Above all, they learn to get a beautiful sound on the instrument and play with an ease that is rare among pianists today.
